Mediterrania- Saïdia (Saïdia)

At less than 40 minutes from Oujda-Angad airport and at less than two hours from the European capitals, with its fine weather which is favourable to swimming, Saidia is on the point of becoming one of the most sought-after seaside resorts of the Mediterranean .

Site
On the banks of the Mediterranean , between the embouchures of the Kiss oued and the Moulouya river, Saidia's beach stretches as far as the eye can see, over a coastline of several kilometres. Around this site, we find the Zegzel valley as well as natural and historic areas, the medina of Oujda - an enduring memory of the Oriental region - or else Figuig's oasis which is considered to be the nearest to Europe.

Developer
The development and improvement of Saidia's seaside resort are entrusted to Morocco Fadesa Group.

Program
This seaside resort, with an area of 713 hectares , will be developed by the Spanish Group Fadesa. At the end, it will comprise several hotel and residential accommodation units, with a capacity of about 30.000 beds, including 17.000 beds in hotel trade. It will also comprise several entertainment infrastructures (golf, marina et ..)

• Direct investment : 2.7 billion DH;
• Investment of other developers : 7,6 billion DH;
• Off-site investment in terms of infrastructures : 605 billion DH.

  Convention signature : 27/08/2003 ;
  Launching of work : April 2004;
  Opening of the first hotel: June 2008 .
