Environment is the set of measures and tasks which intend to ensure a prevailing environment, favourable for tourist activities. Within this context, the Framework Agreement plans to achieve the following actions :

• The development of tourist entertainment at the level of regions;
• The improvement of the welcome at frontier posts;

• The control of tourist establishments;
• The adjustment of new texts relating to travel agencies, to couriers and tour guides;
• The setting up of a legal framework governing the profession of tourist transport;
• The regulations governing the marketing of handicraft products;
• The setting up of a legal framework which aims at the control of rental property for tourist use;
• The harmonization of texts governing the trade concerning the licences (of hotels and restaurants);
• The setting up of a quality control mechanism by means of ensuring mainly the staff's incentive scheme.
• The setting up of a system of staff motivation.
