Setting-up :

The Moroccan National Tourist Office is a public body established in 1918. Since its setting-up, it has undergone a great change. The Dahir of the 12 th of April 1976 , which is still into force, confers on the Office its status of Public Industrial and Commercial Establishment having at its disposal the corporate body and the financial autonomy under the administrative supervision of the Minister of Tourism. It is managed respectively by a Board of directors and a managing Director. It comprises 4 Directions: the Direction of Markets, the Direction of Marketing, the Direction of Communication and the Administrative and Financial Direction.

Main missions :

The mission of the ONMT is to promote and to market " Morocco " Product both at national and international level. Together with the Ministry of Tourism, it aims to reach 10 million tourists by the year 2010. This strategy drawn up at national level has created a positive dynamics within all the Tourist-Operators, permitting the deployment of a large number of human and material resources in order to achieve the objectives that will lead us to fulfill the national expectations. By means of its delegations, the ONMT is present in 5 major markets: Germany , United Kingdom , France , Spain and Italy . It has a delegation in Sweden , Portugal , Switzerland , Belgium , Austria , Canada , United States and UAE. Its headquarters is in Rabat , angle rue Oued El Makhazine and rue Zalaga.
