Professional, Hotel and Tourist Training Establishments of the Tourism Department

Communiqué relating to the dates of the exams of the end of training 2006-2007 and to the postponement of the dates of entrance examinations 2007-2008.

The Department of Training and Cooperation of the Ministry of Tourism, Handicraft and Social Economy informs the second year students of the professional hotel and tourist establishments which are placed under its supervision that the exams of the end of training will take place according to the following dates:

• 11-12-13 July 2007 for the Diploma of Hotel Technician ( DTH);
• 11-12 July 2007 for the Certificate of Professional Qualification( CQP);
• 17-18-19 July 2007 for the Diploma of Specialized Technician (DTS).

Therefore, these registered trainees are requested to come to their respective establishments for any further information.

The curriculum counselling concerning the progression from the first to the second year will be organized in September 2007.

In addition, it has been drawn to the attention of the candidates undergoing training at the professional hotel and tourist training establishments placed under its supervision that the 2007-2008 entrance examinations of the specialized technician level, technician and qualification, will be postponed to the second half of the month of September.

The precise dates of these competitive examinations will be announced through the press and by means of the web site of the Ministry of Tourism: www.tourisme.gov.ma

N.B : The candidates having already forwarded their application to the establishments will be requested to complete their application forms in case the latter are incomplete before being asked to take the examination.
