Mrs Akiko Santo, Vice President of the Japanese House of Councillors, visits Morocco
On Monday, December 14, Mr Mohamed Boussaid, Minister of Tourism and Handicraft, received Mrs Akiko Santo, Vice President of the Japanese House of Councillors at his Department headquarters, accompanied by the Japanese Ambassador accredited to Rabat and an important delegation of the members of the Japanese House of Councillors.
This meeting has been an opportunity to reaffirm the excellence of the long-established relations between the two countries and to examine the means likely to strengthen cooperation in the field of tourism, particularly with respect to investment, training and promotion.
t should be reminded that the Kingdom of Morocco received 15 600 Japanese visitors in 2008 and several missions of experience exchange have been carried out, more particularly in the field of training.
