The Minister of Tourism, Handicraft and Social Economy inaugurates the 2nd professional trade show « Riad Art Expo 2006"
Mr Adil Douiri, the Minister of Tourism, Handicraft and Social Economy opened the 2 nd professional trade show of the moroccan art of living: "Riad Art Expo 2006" on March 22,2006, an event which will continue till the 26 th of this month in the Conference Center of Marrakech.
This forum is made up of 74 stands and set up over an area of 3000 square metre to display different decoration items and handcrafted products.
Such a trade show springs from the realization of the importance given to the Moroccan art of living as regards the promotion of the kingdom's image abroad.
It is meant to be a meeting point of craftsmen, decorators, galery owners, perfumers, hotel owners, architects as well as moroccan and international property developers whose aim is to contribute to the vitality of Marrakech.
A trophy of the name of "heritage and creation" will be bestowed, in four categories, upon different craftsmen who will be distinguished by their products which stand for quality and creativeness.
