Inauguration of the Rural Tourism Project/USAID in Immouzer Ida Outanane's Pays d'Accueil Touristique/ (Tourist Host Country) (PATI).
Within the framework of the rural tourism Project (USAID), Mr Adil Douiri, Minister of Tourism, Handicraft, and Social Economy visited Agadir-Immouzer Ida Outanane on June, 9, 2006 in order to inaugurate the accomplishment of the rural tourism Project (USAID) in the "Pays d'Accueil Touristique" (Tourist Host Country) of Immouzer Ida Outanane (PATI).
The project is intended to strengthen the establishment of the (PATI) through the realization of a great number of planning and promotion actions, and more particularly :
- The set-up of 6 hiking circuits;
- The planning of a circuit in the "Paradise" valley, (vallée de paradis);
- The planning of two parkings at the bottom of the Paradise valley;
- The planning of a rest area;
- The rehabilitation of the collective Apiary of Inzerki;
- The design and the installation of 8 interpretation and road signs for the PATI;
- The promotion of the women's cooperative (labelling of design of a logo, road and interpretation signs);
- Publication of a leaflet for the PATI;
- The creation of a web site for rural tourism.
uring that visit, the Minister gave some explanations concerning the project could "Maison du pays" (House of the Country) that will be realized at the level of Immouzer Ida Outanane in the form of a museum in which regional products will be displayed (handicraft, honey and "argane" tree), and where the visitors of the PATI will receive some information. The project will require an overall budget of about 750.000 DH
