The new identity is based on some references to the mediterranean roots of the town of Tetouan. The name of Tamuda pays tribute to the old phoenician town which was used as a foundation for Tetouan's construction.
The Tamouda area will have 8 hotels overlooking the sea, with a capacity of 5000 beds and 4 golf courses. It will be marketed from summer 2008.
