Morocco and Germany decide to promote their cooperation in the tourist sector
On Wednesday, December 6, 2006, Mr Adil Douiri, the Minister of Tourism, Handicraft and Social Economy examined with Mr Ernst Hinsken, Leader of the German Parliamentary Committee on Tourism, the opportunities of strengthening the bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism.
During that meeting, Mr Adil Douiri, the Minister of Tourism, Handicraft and Social Economy has emphasized the importance of the agreement relating to the "Open Sky" policy for the development of Moroccan tourism, inviting Germany to do its best to implement the provisions of such an agreement, the signature of which is planned for December, 12, in Brussels .
For his part, the German representative has put much emphasis on the will of his country to make Morocco benefit from the German experience and know-how in the field of training, and more particularly as regards tourist and hotel courses of study.
He has indicated, in this respect, that his country intends to send German experts to Morocco in order to give a training of six months in favour of the trainers of the Moroccan tourist sector.
