7th Morocco International Meetings on Tourism
During the 7th International Meetings on Tourism which were
held in Fez from 28 to 29 April 2007 , Morocco drew up a
balance-sheet of its 2006 tourist results and presented
its investment opportunities.
Each year, the International Meetings on Tourism make it possible to bring together the major investors or potential partners (hotel groups, airlines and tour operators.) with a view to putting forward the investment opportunities that the Kingdom offers.
Both public and private sectors have combined their efforts in order to turn Morocco into one of the world's leading destinations by the year 2010.
The success of Morocco destination is explained by the wealth and the diversity of its tourist potentialities, those which meet perfectly the tourists expectations.
So as to preserve this heritage, Morocco has put in place a responsible tourism policy which exhorts both local and foreign actors to care about the protection of environment, traditions, customs as well as the country's art of living.
