Signature of a memorandum of understanding in the field of tourism
On Wednesday, April 18, Morocco and the Sultanate of Oman signed a memorandum of understanding in Rabat concerning the consolidation of the bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries.
This agreement, which has been signed by Mr Adil Douiri, the Minister of Tourism, Handicraft and Social Economy and Mrs Rajha Bint Abdul Amir Bin Ali, the Minister of Tourism of the Sultanate of Oman, intends to develop the tourist flows between both countries.
By means of the signature of such a memorandum of understanding, the two parties desire also to reinforce the cooperation in several fields such as tourist investments, training, the exchange of information and experiences.
During that meeting, Mr Douiri went over the broad outline of the 2010 Vision. For her part, Mrs Rajha Bint Abdul Amir Bin Ali praised the pioneer Moroccan experience in the field of tourism as well as the competitiveness of the products offered (in this sector), expressing the hope of taking advantage of the Moroccan expertise and of consolidating the cooperation with the Kingdom in this domain.
