Agreement designed to promote Morocco destination between the OMNT and the Tourism Office of Guangdong 's Chinese Province

Outside « Morocco-China business Forum", organized by the General Confederation of Morocco's Enterprises (CGEM) and the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong, an agreement designed to promote Morocco destination in China was signed on Tuesday June 6, 2007 in Casablanca between the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) and the Tourism Office of Guangdong's Chinese Province.

In accordance with this agreement, the two parties undertook to intensify the exchange of visits between  travel agencies and tour operators (TO) of both countries, with a view to encouraging the Chinese tourists to come and visit the imperial cities of Morocco .

The agreement provides also for the possibility of creating an air route linking Guangdong 's Province to the major Moroccan tourist towns.
