Implementation of Hotix software
On Wednesday, January16,2008 , Mr Mohamed Boussaid, the Minister of Tourism and Handicraft presided over the signature ceremony of a partnership convention between the Tourism Department, Hotix company – Morocco- and Atlas Group Hospitality.
This convention is aimed at putting in place a targeted partnership program in the field of equipment and training centred around Hotix software, a specialized software dealing with the management of welcome and hotel catering. Such a convention will put the licences of this software at the disposal of all the hotel and tourist training establishments coming under the Tourism Department and it will help to train the trainers who will be called upon to pass down their know-how in this domain.
That will, on the one hand, permit the participation in the development of the trainers' skills and their greater involvement in practical management; and on the other hand, it will improve the integration of young people by making them master the tools which they will have to use at their future employers.
This action is reinforced by the attendant measures undertaken by Atlas Hospitality, an already privileged partner of the International Tourism Institute of Tangier, who will accompany the institutes in the training of trainers thanks to practical training courses and who will receive the trainees within its hotels in order to reinforce their knowledge and stimulate their employability.
