National Environment and Tourism Day
“Together for a better environmental management and a rationalization of natural resources use”
The Tourism Department and the National Federation of Hotel Industry will organize a National Environment and Tourism Day on Thursday, July 10 th , 2008 at Golden Tulip Farah Hotel of Casablanca.
This event will be the opportunity to expound the results of the study dealing with the assessment of the impact of tourism on environment (Meso-economic study) and to put at the disposal of the hotel sector's actors a series of good practices which make it possible to preserve the environment and to reduce the operating costs.
Beyond the increase of public awareness to this issue, the objective of this day is to suggest concrete measures of accompaniment, supervision, training and of follow-up, which should allow the implementation of an environmental management integrated into the hotel industry.
