Morocco and Malawi Sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Tourism

telechargement_1.jpgThe Minister of Tourism, Air Transport, Handicrafts and Social Economy, Mohamed Sajid, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Emmanuel Fabiano, leading an important delegation for a working visit in Rabat, discussed the means to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

This meeting was held in the presence of the Malawian Chief of Staff, Mabvuto Katemulak, the Director of International Cooperation, Richard Perekamayo and the Director of Investment Promotion. Major cooperation areas were indentified at the end of these talks with a view to integrating them in the cooperation agreement, whose signature will allow the two countries to work together to achieve their common goals.

Following this visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, and his Malawian counterpart, Emmanuel Fabiano, signed on July 3rd 2018 in Rabat several agreements aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries in various areas, namely a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Tourism as part of the African Vision of His Majesty King Mohamed VI who gives great importance to Southern Africa.
